So media/Congress, boohoo he wasn't serious. You may not look into it enough to find out, but they received Colbert's written (I take it, more serious) testimony - then after commenting on the press coverage he was bringing to the hearing (the most since the Clinton impeachment) they asked him to leave (i.e. shut-up; don't talk, funny man) and then it seemed like his microphone wasn't working (although that may have been his fault). Also, if you hear him answering any Congress-person's questions he is obviously sincere about the issue . . . which is more than can be said about most politicians who aren't half as harmless - or a millionth of a percent as entertaining as Colbert. - The People's Poseur
Rally to Restore Sanity vs. March to Keep Fear Alive
Ask and you shall receive: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are going to stage competing rallies on the National Mall after an Internet campaign begged them to do so after Glenn Beck’s rally. “[W]e'd like you to join us in Washington, D.C. on October 30—a date of no significance whatsoever—at the Daily Show's ‘Rally to Restore Sanity,’” says Stewart's event website. Colbert's competing rally is called The March to Keep Fear Alive.
[Definitely worth checking out the full interview.] Jon Stewart was on the O'Reilly Factor (Via The Week) - and what do you know? Fox News edited out some of Stewart's better responses (click here to watch - what Fox News calls - the unedited interview).

[Official Music Video] "Another Way To Die" by Alicia Keys & Jack White.
Could be a repost, but hell - it's in honor of the Jack White & Jay-Z collaboration "Ray-Bans" that has me frothing at the mouth for the fact that it hasn't been released/leaked yet. Get the latest news on it here or you can scour the web in search of the song itself or the illusive pictures that everybody seems to have been forced by the photographer to take down - and which might have been from Glastonbury 2008 anyway.
Damn you Internet hype.

Next month Stylez N' Kardo will be doing the "Google Girl" music video shoot and I, (that's right, me the humble People's Poseur), will be there doing photography for SK! and giving you behind the scenes access here and for their new currently-under-construction website. Check back for more.

It takes balls to go in on an Immortal Technique joint. Sure, maybe your audience won't have the original, but if they look it up? And if you're going after the audience of an underground lyricist of his caliber? Well, no matter what you have to say about Rhetoric, you can't hate the man's grind. Exclusive freestyle premiere below, motherfuckers. Point of No Return Freestyle - Rhetoric [The People's Poseur World Premiere] by The People's Poseur
Be sure to listen to "Bed Bugz", "Bazooka", "Gravity", and "Africa".
"Monster Mash" by The Others.
Which got me listening to . . .
The Others - Kind of Blue HQ DUBSTEP.
And . . .
[More Documentary Than Musical]Miles Davis - Kind of Blue 50th Anniversary.
And . . .
Miles Davis & John Coltrane - Kind of Blue.
Click here to check out "Bushido" by The Others, which reminds me of the Chase & Status "Eastern Jam" track I put on here a little while ago.
Rusko is a fucking menace to society . . .
Bed Bugz - Rusko & The Others.
Oh well, if I got Rusko in, I might as well toss Caspa in, as well, right?
I Remember - Deadmau5 (Caspa Remix). Props to Damascus Timebomb a.k.a. David 9-Milli for turning me onto Deadmau5. And, as a bonus, click here for his remix of their "Bushido" that I mentioned above.
I feel like I want these guys to go harder, but then on a track like this they have chill dub complexity that I can really groove to.
THE OTHERS - BAZOOKA.
And they make dubstep fucking rock n' (then) bang on a song like this one here.
The Others - Gravity. Dope-a-fuckin'-licious. (And I almost forgot, they get... whimsical(?), too, at the end. Do you know what they're going to do next in this song?)
This one should be in a horror movie. Is Africa supposed to be scary?
The Others - Africa.
If you can stomach any more, click here to check out "Ganja Man" by The Others.
