(For some reason the version of "Cris Columbus" belows cuts off a tiny bit early and the remix cuts of what I assume Last Skeptik's verse a tiny bit early - oh well. You get the point.)
"Cris Columbus" by Head-Roc.
"Hitler Day" by Public Enemy (Muse Sick-N-Hour Mess Age).
'Chris Columbus' by Head-Roc (The Last Skeptik rmx).
J. Cole - See World (Friday Night Lights Mixtape) [HD/Download]. According to Elite's Official Blog not only is he the "Producer of classic joints: [...] J. Cole's lead single "Who Dat" (Co-Production), "Heartache" and "Playground"." - he also helped co-produce "See World" alongside J. Cole."
Only in Hip-Hop are the freshmen cooler than the seniors . . .
J. Cole - Who's World Is This.
Earlier on Cole seemed to be paying an apprentice's due in his overly conscious homage to Nas/his style - in a slightly different way than Fashawn, for example. Now, as witnessed above in "World Is Empty," multi-talented J. Cole rappper, producer, - Hip-Hop artist, if you will, emerges. Oh & is straight killing it (in the Peoples' humble, if inviolable opinion).
"Deuces (Remix)" by - Feat. Drake, Kanye West, T.I., Fabolous, & Andre 3000.
1) Yay Andre 3K! First Big Boi... then Andre 3000... then... BOI STOP.
2) I got "Walk It Out" (reminisce by clicking over here), I dig the creativity - but I'm not sure I understand the song selection in the same light as the former.
2.5) I'm not sure I'm ready for a Fabolous comeback. . .
"Deuces (Remix) - DOUCHE IT *SPOOF*" by Affion Crockett.
Parodies generally remind me of Weird Al, which - no disrespect - usually reminds me of middle school (i.e. lame bullshit). Crockett, does a pretty damn good aping the different rappers personas.
"Love The Way You Lie" by Eminem Feat. Rihanna.
I don't actually feel this song that much anymore, but it's got a moral, kiddies.
Click here to check out the original version of Das Racist's "Combination Pizza Hut And Taco Bell" off their Shut Up, Dude mixtape. (Watch & be amazed as the song plays out over totally random clips of a pretty phat anime show called Code Geass with the logos of Pizza Hut/Taco Bell pasted into one clip, also at random.)
Open Late Remix.
Guy Michael-Barletta Remix.
(Official, I think...) Wallpaper. Remix.
I'm all about Das Racist (seriously, they are probably one of my favorite things going right now, - if not only because of the look of puzzlement that comes on other would-be 'heads when I blare some), but I'm not quite sure about this whole obsession with Pizza Hut/Taco Bell. . .
The two most thumbs-upped YouTube comments are: 1) "THIS SONG CHANGED MY LIFE." (257 thumbs up by killsunny69.)
2) "I was listening to this in the car when my friend and I were lost in Columbus. We were all stressed out from driving in circles for the last two hours, but we did a Tokyo Drift at the last minute into the Combination's parking lot. And we blared this in that parking lot. Some employees saw us dancing our cares away to this incredible song and didn't know what to say. / And that's when I became an adult." (90 thumbs up by handicappedhero.)
