"The Path Of The Righteous Man Is Beset On All Sides . . ."

The final release from the always Def (Jamz) Rick Rubin and the late Johnny Cash, American VI: Ain't No Grave, is out.

You can cop this album for $3.99 in MP3 format from Amazon.com, although, of course, there are other ways to get it, as always. . .

Track 4 "I Corinthians 15:55" is the only original Cash composition, but I basically enjoy his covers better than most of his originals anyway.  "Ain't No Grave" sounds like a boastful gospel song and "Satisfied Mind" is definitely worth listening to.

Awesome links to some other music after the jump.

On a separate, but somewhat related note: Cash and The Clash (Joe Strummer) perform Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" here, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros do another version here, and, of course, Marley does one of his versions here.
