LAZERS NEVER DIE

Got to the show partway through Rusko's set, but the Major Lazer stop in the "Lazers Never Die" Tour at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, on 2010/03/30 (despite the small size of the venue) was hype as shit.  Got a vinyl after the show. Skerrit Bwoy and Diplo signed it as they were helping to sell merch afterwards.

Major Lazer interview:

What’s your idea of the perfect day off?
Badman nuh tek day off. If yu waan money inna di bank yu haffi hustle twenty-four seven, forty-eight fourteen.
And finally, please complete this sentence: The thing people would be most shocked to learn about Major Lazer is …
If me tell unno, world aguh stop turn.

Major Lazer is comprised of DJ-Producers Diplo (Wes Pentz) and Switch (Dave Taylor).

"We were staying at a hotel right by the gig, and at about 5 o'clock, no one was there," Taylor says. "Then at 6, a whole ton of people started streaming in and it just filled up completely. They were expecting, like, 60,000, and over 200,000 people eventually showed up." (Via Weekly Dig.)

Mo' Major Lazer, Mo' Problems. (Mishka Keep Watch Vol. X - Major Lazer.)

Warning: Rusko is not considered safe for human consumption.

Dope-a-licious.
