The Abbot of Wu-Tang Clan, RZA, now an auteur (as you may know if you keep up with The People's Poseur) tweeted a little over an hour ago - "just another day editing, watching my vision of Man With the Iron Fist come to life. Bong!"
Bong! Bong, y'all! With RZA putting in 14 hour days filming The Man With the Iron Fist (2011) in China and bankable Hollywood actors like Russell Crowe signing on this movie is going to be insane. Eli Roth (writer/director of the gory Hostel movies and the "Bear Jew" from Inglorious Basterds), Quentin Tarantino (the RZA's mentor in the ways of filmmaking), and the rest of that crew are on board as well. Roth helped RZA re-do his original script as I've previously mentioned; he described it along the lines of a martial arts spaghetti western with a hip hop sensibility. I personally cannot wait.
