The Crossroads Episode 26

Chan Feat. Singapore Kane - Street Legends [Music Video].

"N-ggas with bodies on they hands salute and dap me / they're some wild Apaches that dress a little tacky / [...]" - Singapore Kane

I forgot in Episode 25 to mention Apache Helicopters and the very interesting use of "Codename Geronimo" for Osama Bin Laden (click here for a news story on the operation that took him out and here for a story on a descendant of the historical Native American Geronimo, who is demanding an apology from the White House).

Sugarhill Gang - Apache (Jump On It).  Click here for when this song made it's appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  Or click here for a video with 60s/70s hippie nonsense going on (a.k.a. the original by The Incredible Bongo Band, which was covered by Sugarhill Gang).

Incredible Bongo Band - Apache (Grandmaster Flash Remix).

DJ Qbert - Apache Remix [Around 10 seconds clipped from end].

The Shadows - Apache (LIVE).  And when I said the above was the original I lied because this one is from 1964.

Sole - Teepee On A Highway Blues.

Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - This Land Is Your Land.  This is a cover of Woody Guthrie's classic.
