Tough Bond is an urgent message from Africa that documents the disappearance of the village, told through the lives of 3 Kenyan street kids, hustling, sniffing glue, surviving in a parallel society with no tribe but the one they create for themselves. Shot over two years, we lived with our characters and followed their stories from the most rural villages of the country to the hearts of its biggest slums.

Older black-and-white clips of various political events is interesting enough content for the first video, but the second song/video combo below goes a step further. Using a Soviet Russia era propaganda film, which opens with the claim that

The video utilizes various early filmic avant garde and experimental techniques that make it an interesting watch in itself, especially if interested in the early Russian genius for the 'cinematographic arts' - Eisenstein (wiki here), anybody?
