The Man With The Iron Fists

My first reaction to RZA's The Man With Iron Fists (2012) is that it is a very respectable Kill Bill-esque over-the-top martial arts flick.  If you check out the IMBd (click here; click here for the trivia section specifically), my criticism that the shots are a little choppy isn't as biting since the original cut was 4-hours long and Eli Roth insisted on cutting it down to 90 minutes instead of breaking it into two separate movies like RZA wanted to (and Quentin Tarantino did for Kill Bill).

DD Visuals: RZA Talking 'Iron Fists' Prequels & Sequels [Video].
RZA speaks on the dynamics and hidden layers in his new movie "The Man With The Iron Fists," out Nov. 2nd.

The movie stars Russel Crowe, Lucy Liu, David Bautista, Cung Le, Pam Grier, Rick Yune, and The RZA himself who explains each character has an in-depth back story which could lead to sequels and prequels.

Check it out in theaters now.  I smell Django Unchained (2012.12.25) tie-ins on the horizon a la Grindhouse.

WU-TANG!
