Dig that "Kenny Lofton" track (MLB player wiki here) featuring Young Jeezy.
"Shout out the black man that beat the odds by yellin' for "HOPE" / today he asked if I could Twitter y'all 'n' tell you to vote / my n*gga how could I? knowing what I know? / it's a game of charades, masquerades for the dough / read the teleprompter: these n*ggas is actors on the low / yeah, I voted for the n*gga - cause he got the best show / like I got the best flow / [...]" - J. Cole
That's some real shit to say and reminds me of his "I smell bullshit - it must be an election year" line off Major Lazer x J. Cole "Get Free ColeWorld" remix and his Illuminati stunting lines off "Miss America" which is slated to be on Born Sinner (2013).
This free EP also features 2 Chainz (on "Chris Trucker," which is the worst track, mainly because 2 Chainz is getting repetitive and the beat is reminiscent of debut album's dubstep-influenced track "Mr. Nice Watch") and Dreamville's own Bas. Aside from "Cole Summer" and "Kenny Lofton" it's probably "Wishes" that's my favorite, although "Cousins" (with Bas) is good as well.
Sophomore album "Born Sinner" (2013) comes out on June 25th.
