"Following the success of their debut EP on Lunatick Records earlier this year, South London jazz/hip-hop quartet Sumochief have once again teamed up with the UK based imprint to present a series of remixes from the acclaimed Sumobeats EP.
Sumobeats Remixed is a brand new project featuring a host of talented producers who have been drafted in to put their own unique twists on the band's original recordings.
With styles ranging from pulsing synth infused tracks, to traditional boom-bap and even West-African rhythms, the Remix EP is a testament to the broad and genre inclusive style that both Sumochief and Lunatick are trying to promote in an music world which seems to be growing more monotonous and safe with each passing year.
